Amiti Perry (performer), a native Texan, received her BA in Dance from the University of North Texas. She has produced, choreographed and performed original works consistently over the years, as well as co-founded with collaborator Coco Loupe DIP dance company, which has been presented in New York, Texas, Louisiana and Ohio.

She has performed as guest artist with Rachel Lampert and Dancers (Ithaca, NY) and for four years she performed, taught, assisted and designed internationally with Skip Costa/CORE movement Project-NYC. Amiti recently returned to NYC after completing her MFA in Choreography at The Ohio State University. At OSU, she performed works by Bebe Miller, Michael Estanich, Blake Beckham, and Esther m Palmer, among others.

Amiti’s own choreography can be seen at venues around New York on her company aemp:dance. She is also a performing member of ellen stokes shadle/DANCEWORKS.
